This was a great house. Walkable to downtown Palm Springs. It was spotless and we enjoyed the pool. The outdoor space is great. We hope to come back soon!

Fabulous pool !!

We just stayed for a week at the Banana Cabana with our two adult sons. Stylish house, very comfortable and clean, well stocked, backyard is gorgeous. We loved spending time there. My only negative comment: it is on a very busy road and near a busy intersection. Traffic dies down from about 10 to 3 but busy otherwise and despite being in the backyard, you do hear it. Otherwise wonderful.

Fall Break

Incredible home. Our family loved the pool and outdoor space. The banana/fruit theme was executed brilliantly. Easy access from the airport and just over a mile from downtown.

The Banana Cabana did not disappoint at all! We had a fantastic time. Check in was super easy, communication was quick and the house was clean and absolutely perfect for all six of us. The location was an easy drive to downtown. The pool was perfect with plenty of pool toys to keep the kids busy. Such attention to detail! Would highly recommend! We will definitely be back.

Absolutely loved this Airbnb. Was just like the photos, the tree house was adorable, the backyard and pool were awesome, great place to lounge. The rooms were spacious and there was amenities available like shampoo conditioner and a hair dryer. My one complaint would be that the rooms get kind of hot, but besides that absolutely amazing stay. Would highly recommend.

Adequately stocked amenities and a clean swimming pool in the back yard, it was a great place for a weekend getaway. Highly recommend spending some time in the treehouse, so underrated! I couldn’t be happier with my stay at the Banana Cabana. Every detail was beautiful and fun. We loved the house and the backyard. We also had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners who made sure that we had everything we needed. The contact person at the management company was also very responsive and made sure all my questions were answered. I am looking forward to returning to Palm Springs and staying at the Banana Cabana again!

This is a great house for family fun Our kids really enjoyed the property

This is a great property to hang out and enjoy family time. The yard is so wonderful providing a huge pool and sun deck area, and also a large shaded area to hang out. The tiki bar tree house was a huge hit. I was concerned about the yard being secure for our two small dogs, but it was very safe and they loved exploring. This house is on a busy road, but once you are inside, you are in your own private oasis. No complaints at all. Wonderful property overall.

The online photos of Banana Cabana are gorgeous but the place is EVEN BETTER!! It's appointed perfectly and has an old Palm Springs mid-century feel. The outdoor living spaces are fun, beautiful and comfortable. We can't recommend this place enough!

Great house! Fun property for a trip to Palm Springs!

This place is super close to the airport so you don’t have more than a few blocks to go once you arrive. It is on a busier street, but it wasn’t too noisy. Warning- The kitchen is pretty small, but fully equipped. The pool was nice and warm, which was great! All and all a good place. We enjoyed our stay.

This was a wonderful stay- the pictures don’t do the house justice. Our family spent the whole weekend outdoors in the pool or sunbathing. The house is well stocked and has the loveliest artistic touches. We are definitely hoping to be back!

This place has become our new favorite spot to stay at in Palm Springs. The owners, Rick and Keith, have thought of everything, from handy signage/instructions throughout to extra fans in the bedrooms in case you need some extra cooling off. We can't wait to come back!

This was the perfect way to reunite with friends after a crazy year. The outdoor space is beautiful, and the house truly had everything we needed. The little touches - like the fruit basket - were wonderful too. We’d definitely do our 6-person bachelorette party here again!

We had a wonderful 2 week stay here! The homeowner greeted us when we arrived and showed us around. We were so grateful for the bottled water and wine! The spaces, both indoor and outdoor, were comfortable and relaxing. The pool deck provides plenty of sun and shade, which worked well to protect our delicate Pacific Northwest skin. The outdoor spaces really shine. The shaded cabana, the fire pit, bocce and cornhole got so much use by all of us. Our son loved the treehouse the most and cannot wait to return. The street is busy and we heard some traffic noise at night. A sound machine would be a good idea. We can't wait to return!

Palm Springs Vacation

We absolutely loved the Banana Cabana house!! The grounds, especially the pool were delightful in the hot weather. The entire house was so comfortable and easy to relax in. Our grown kids loved the tree house and bar, and some even took a snooze or two while reading. We would definitely choose to stay at the this lovely home the next time we head to Palm Springs!

Exceeded Expectations!

The Hosts thought of everything. All the thoughtful labels made things easy to find and the home was equipped with everything we needed for adults, kids and dogs. The outside space was so fun with beautiful pool and games. Kids and adults loved the tree house.

This house, a perfect location close to the airport and downtown Palm Springs, is full of thoughtful and fun touches which made our stay comfortable and so much fun. Both indoor and outdoor spaces, from the treehouse to pool toys, to the various outdoor places to sit and relax during the day and at night, are carefully designed and appointed to invite guests to enjoy every second - which we did. The communication with DLE and the owner, who greeted us in person, was helpful and attentive.

The location was great/house was super cute and yard was amazing. The noise restriction after 9 pm was a little annoying, but, house made up for it.

My husband and I stayed at the Banana Cabana to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. We had a few must-have criteria when searching for a place to spend this long weekend (pool, spa, dog friendly), and the Banana Cabana had it all and then some. I literally couldn't believe it when I found it online. Space-wise it was more than we needed for just the two of us and our dog, but the price was so reasonable we figured, why not? Given the pandemic and being stuck in our house for months, we were mostly just looking forward to a change of scenery, including staying at a place with a pool. We could not have asked for a better place than the Banana Cabana. We spent most of every day in the pool, napped in the awesome tiki treehouse, and enjoyed the lounge area and hot tub at night before curling up on the couches inside to catch up on our shows. It was exactly what we needed. Rick and Keith keep a beautiful home and the property management company was responsive to all communication. The Banana Cabana is where we intend to stay for all future Palm Springs visits.

We had an amazing time! The house is really well decorated and thoughtfully stocked with all kinds of kitchen stuff etc. The backyard is beautiful, and we had the most relaxing and fun weekend we’ve had in a long while. The tree house and tiki bar are awesome. We had a hard time deciding who had the most fun, but we think it may have been our new rescue pup, who was on his first ever family vacation. DEFINITELY will be back!!

This place is a self-contained resort, a stylish oasis. We had our teen boys and my mother in tow for a magical long weekend. If you read all the reviews you will see how comfortable the beds are, how beautiful the rooms are designed, and how clean everything is, especially during COVID. The kitchen is so well stocked I thought I was home, paper towels, Reynolds Wrap, spices, beautiful pans, many many knives, drawers full of every gadget you need, cutting boards, plastic cups for the pool, great dishes and bowls, a coffee maker, and every kind of drink glass for cocktails in the evening. The blender was a much-used appliance. Did I mention they had ice already in the freezer and a bowl of lemons and limes for us? They don't list all the appliances but there is a toaster, an electric griddle for pancakes, a crockpot, and a small toaster/oven for nachos. We used the outdoor grill by the pool for hot dogs and hamburgers. My 81-year-old mother swam every morning and night, and to see her sitting relaxed under the outdoor veranda reading made my heart sing. The boys loved the pool, corn toss game, jacuzzi with lights, treehouse, giant connect 4, and the pool which was full of inflatable toys such as a pink flamingo, sparkly unicorn, and noodles. We didn't expect this, but what a treat! We spent one day at Palm Springs Air Museum. Incredible! You will fall in love with the original art in the house. This was our first time staying in Palm Springs. We didn't know about the noise ordinance. Just google Palm Springs Noise Ordinance Vacation Rental to read before your visit. At night we heard incredibly loud buzzing for about 20 minutes. We thought it was the electrical lines. We laughed when we found out it was the male cicada looking for a mate! As you can see from my notes, we had an amazing time at the Banana Cabana and can't wait to return. There was so much room, everyone could occupy their own space. What a treat after being cooped up in a house the past few months. I wish all of our experiences on Airbnb were this good and this house was the epitome of a perfect elegant rental.

Honestly I've stayed at a lot of AIRBNBS but something about the banana cabana was such a different, yet awesome experience. We loved this spot so much! The vibes here were insane. All the little touches to the rooms, the backyard, and the living room were so thoughtful and creative! An unforgettable experience for sure, I will definitely be back. If you're 2nd guessing your stay here, PLEASE JUST BOOK IT! You will not regret it!!!

This property is amazing! The house has everything you will ever need. The outdoor area is huge with a pool (floats provided by the owner) and a bunch of lawn games. Will definitely stay here again.

THE PERFECT GETAWAY HOME

My family and I had the most amazing time at the Banana Cabana and we can't wait to go back! The house is a beautiful mid-century modern adorned with the most creative and well thought out decor. The meticulous attention to detail made for such pleasant surprises! Plenty of space for a family of four with two small kids. There were so many options to keep not only adults entertained but kids too! From the treehouse/bar to the board games and lawn games ... there was never a dull moment or cry for "I'm bored"! We are looking forward to our next stay and can't wait to make the Banana Cabana a tradition for our annual PS family trip!!

Two Thumbs Ups At The Banana Cabana

My 4-year-old son gave our stay two thumbs up! He said his favorite part of Palm Springs was the pool and the house and his not favorite part was leaving. LOL. I loved hearing that since this is why I chose this rental house in the first place: the house, the private pool and the treehouse was an extra fun touch! I surprised my husband for his 50th birthday with a family weekend getaway. Since the pandemic we needed a break and my son needed to swim swim swim. Out of all the places I researched I also chose this house because it was a mix of mid-century modern for my husband and kid friendly for our toddler and newborn. Plus it had great reviews. We spent the whole time at the pool and the baby also stayed cool under the canopy, which is also why I chose this place. We were greeted with a welcome card on the dining table, fresh flowers a wonderful fruit display...with a pineapple! That was perfect because mama drank virgin pina coladas all weekend. The only reason I put 4 starts for communication was because I needed to know how and if they upgraded their cleaning and sanitizing procedures since the pandemic and I didn't hear back soon enough to book, but I booked anyways before I heard back because I loved the place so much. They did get back to me and not only did the place look and feel safe and sanitized they left a lysol wipes for us, the guests! This is a wonderful getaway spot and I highly recommend it and since we live in Los Angeles we definitely want to be back.

Very clean, neat, and welcoming. Very charming and better than the pictures. Backyard is great. Pool is huge, loaded with floaties. Our kids had a blast. Location on a busy street wasn't really an issue. We could hear some street noise, but the backyard still felt like an oasis. Bedrooms are quiet with blackout curtains. We would come again!

Had the pleasure of checking in with the owner himself, he was so kind and showed me around the grounds. The pictures really don't do justice, my family and I felt like we were at a resort, the house had a real good vibe and it was perfect for a getaway weekend. The kitchen is fully stocked with ALL the appliances and kitchenware you need, I cooked all weekend and it was more than enough to cook with ease. (margarita glasses, a blender, toaster, outdoor grill, the whole shabang! ^_^) The pool, tree house, fire pit, and hot tub were spot on! Literally so much to do to keep yourself entertained with good company. The house decoration was so cute as well and the Banana Cabana theme made it fun, as well as the amazon prime alexa speakers lol Very clean and made it easy for us to feel safe during the pandemic, was able to wash and dry some clothes as well. Overall an amazing and unforgettable experience! So glad it was available for us! We will be back!!! Thank you again for the warm welcome! :)

What a find. We were so thrilled to get everything we wanted and more at this clean and comfortable mid century compound. Great location that's close to restaurants, shops and hiking, with a huge pool that gets great sun all day, a comfy couch cabana, outdoor kitchen and even a functioning tiki bar at the base of a treehouse that's definitely not just for kids (cool place for drinks up there). We stayed for a few days, but would have loved to stay longer. Perfect time! Wonderful hosts. Would definitely rent again.

The rental itself was tastefully decorated and proximity to downtown Palm Springs was great. Less than 5 minutes to the airport. That being said , it is located in a major thoroughfare so if you want real peace, not the best place as we could hear traffic all day and night if we were outside. Pool was great - we had some issues with the hot tub but that should be getting repaired soon as the property managers were on it. Lucky for us they were willing to compensate to make up for the inability to use it . Kitchen was fully equipped and had everything we needed. Thank you !

Fun & Easy

My wife and I spent three weeks at the Banana Cabana. It has a cool vibe to work away from home and take fun breaks. It's a two-block walk to an awesome dog park. It's a five-minute drive to the nearby health club and to downtown Palm Springs. Enjoyed every day and night there.
