We really enjoyed our stay and this house definitely grew on us! Incredible neighborhood and absolutely beautiful view. Pool was fantastic although there were a couple issues learning how to keep it heating, cooling and filtering properly. Loved the mid century decor and beds were very comfortable.

The pool and hot tub were great for lounging around. The house is well laid out, and there are lots of places for people to sit outside. The heater on the hot tub malfunctioned one night and DLE sent someone out to fix it that night.

The photos of the pool and the expansive backyard do not do the property justice. The location of this house right off the golf course is stunning. Lemon trees and grapefruit trees line the yard providing fresh fruit and fantastic cocktail mixers for guests. The house was lovely with a great flow and each room was comfortably appointed. This house was a slice of heaven and makes for a wonderful adult getaway.

We recently were lucky enough to spend a full month at this amazing home on the golf course. It comfortable housed my family which included 8 people and 2 dogs. The home was very clean, well laid out and nicely decorated. I would have to say the view of the mountains and golf coarse had to be my favorite part creating a perfect place to relax and have a margarita. All 5 of my kids ranging from 3-15 had a blast in the well designed pool/spa which was kept at a perfect temp where they never got cold. It was so warm my 3 year old averaged over 4.5 hours a day in the pool and learned how to swim. Since CA had a "Shelter in Place" order the golf coarse was closed but running daily I got to enjoy the beauty of all the holes. It truly looks like the perfect place for a golf vacation! I would highly recommend this home to anyone wanting perfect sunny weather and who loves to golf and hike. It was very family friendly including our furry friends. To top it off the owners were over the top helpful and probably one of the nicer couples I have met. They jumped on any maintenance problems that came up and were always very responsive to any request we had. A special thank you to Jerry and Jan for making our time at the Desert Gem a special experience in a time of so uncertainty.

Beautiful high ceilings and walls of windows welcome you when you enter this gem. Open airy and well equipped. Short walk to club house and Ernie's restaurant. Perfectly situated on the golf course with just the right amount of privacy. The south facing patio captures the early morning light. Electric awnings provide great shade later in the day. Pool and spa were great and heated up very quickly. Would rent here again!

What a great property for entertaining friends and family. This rental has the best layout - separate living quarters surrounding the pool and hot tub, wonderfully landscaped with everything you need to make your get together a success. You don't want to leave . We all had a delightful time.

We loved this home! The two large out door Casitas were gorgeous, and gave my family-areas with more privacy for those who were married. A great pool and spa area with lots of sun which was perfect with it beginning to get warm out finally. Good bedrooms with lots of space. Large common area with very well equipped kitchen. Owner was great to deal with and answered all my questions quickly and called me to answer anything we needed upon arrival and departure, we would definitely book again for another family vacation

Jan and Jerry we cannot thank you enough for our incredible experience staying in your beautiful home . You were such incredible hosts , quick to respond to any questions, needs and requests around the home which made our stay so very comfortable . From the booking company to local staff everyone was so very efficient and attentive we were very impressed. The home is so well appointed , the backyard area is amazing the pool , hot tub , outdoor dining , ping pong table with such an incredible views a 10 out of 10 for sure . We loved the home thanks so very much.

This house was amazing, perfect place for our family reunion. Gorgeous, spacious, well stocked and full of games to play like pool, ping pong etc. The beds were very comfortable, everyone had wonderful sleeps!

We absolutely loved this house, it's so beautiful and absolutely perfect for a group who wants to soak up the sun, cook lovely meals, and relax in all the cozy corners of this place. The hospitality was amazing and a very thoughtful welcome gift and note. Also, immaculately clean. We all want to stay here again!
