Modern Mesa is a private, half acre estate in an extraordinary setting in The Mesa - a historic neighborhood in South Palm Springs dating back to the 1920s. This 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath, 3090 sqft home was one of the showcase homes at Palm Springs Modernism Week. It captures quintessential Palm Springs charm - with its open concept floorplan, and walls of glass looking out to the pool and mountains. The resort style yard is perfectly space planned with many different areas to relax. Private pool with tanning deck, spa, lounge chairs, outdoor dining, conversation areas and gas firepit. Prime location on Palm Canyon Drive.
Walled and gated for privacy, the huge yard features a gorgeous custom pool surrounded by luxury lounge chairs and umbrellas. Two outdoor dining tables with seating for 6 and another for 8, as well as a built-in BBQ. The backyard retreat continues with a firepit lounge and a stand alone spa - perfect for cooler desert evenings. Swaying palms and breathtaking mountains add to the magic of this very special property.
The fabulous interior has a spacious open concept floor plan, soaring ceilings, walls of glass and designer Palm Springs vibes. The living, dining and kitchen all look out to the poolside paradise. The living area has plenty of seating, TV, fireplace and pool table. The airy gourmet kitchen has high end appliances, and 4 seats at the island bar. The dining area has seating for 4.
The Main House has two Master Suites. Master Suite 1 and 2 both have King beds, flatscreen TVs, glass doors to the yard and mountain views. The en suite baths have dual sinks, soaking tubs and large showers. The Casita Suite has a Queen bed, TV and sliding glass doors to a private patio. Full kitchen with sink, stove and fridge. Bathroom with beautifully tiled shower. There is an additional half bath in the main house.
Sleeping Summary: 2 Kings, 1 Queen. Sleeps 6.
Other Amenities: Wireless internet. Linens, bath and pool towels plus a starter set of all natural Beekman soaps in each bathroom. Fully equipped laundry area with washer, dryer, ironing board and iron. Parking for 3 cars.
The South Palm Springs location on Palm Canyon Drive cannot be beat. Walking and hiking trails are located nearby. You're extremely close to excellent restaurants, coffee shops, bars, shopping, art galleries, night clubs as well as neighborhood conveniences.

Modern Mesa Magic
Modern Mesa is a magical experience! A gracious and spacious home, a private Casita with Kitchen, and a spectacular pool, hot tub, and fire pit in a very private and beautiful resort like setting. Desert Luxury Estates and the owner terrific to work with. A beautiful home and outdoor setting! A true find!

The Modern Mesa is such a beautiful home. Although we needed to leave our vacation early we enjoyed the time we did stay. The backyard is amazing, the pool is awesome. The overall thought put into this home is reflected in everything from decor to craftsmanship. We would definitely stay again!

Palm Springs for a Month
We agonized over what area of Palm Springs to stay in and so glad we landed on this location. Close to restaurants, coffee, bike rentals, golf courses, hiking trails and the best ice cream in the world. This house is the perfectly curated backdrop for an upscale desert living experience. Dawn and dusk were our favorite time of day as you watch the color of the sky change behind the mountains. The outdoor living area is equally as spectacular as the inside and if music is as important to you as it is to us you will seriously appreciate the the thought that went into wiring the sound system for your perfect vacation soundtrack. The indoor and outdoor lighting, bed linens, towels, coffee table books and rug textures are amazing. Did not want to leave!
