The House of the Rising Sun does not disappoint! The moment we walked into the front courtyard, we were delighted by the soothing sounds of a water feature that beckoned us through the cheerful, yellow door. The house is immediately welcoming, well appointed with a large open living area and kitchen. All of the appliances are new and we enjoyed cooking and having lunch at the outdoor table by the pool. The kitchen was large enough so that all seven of us had plenty of space to maneuver. What really makes this house special is the stunning mountain backdrop. No matter where you sit in the backyard, you have the spectacular view of the mountain. We spent a good amount of time reading books on the super comfortable and perfectly shaded outdoor sectional couch. It was wonderful to keep the "wall" of sliding glass doors open to enjoy the air. It was almost hard to motivate ourselves to leave the property. However, the hiking trailhead is a few minutes walk from the house so there was no excuse not to put on our boots and head out the door. Each bedroom was nicer than the last and we appreciated the feeling of privacy created by the layout of the house. The separate casita is another added attraction to the house. It is as beautiful and peaceful as you can imagine. We loved how close we were to town, walking in for dinner at night was a real treat. We really can't say enough about this house and we look forward to booking it again next year.

Not only is this property beautiful, spacious, well-equipped and comfortable, the property managers, Desert Luxury Estates, are unfailingly responsive, competent, thorough, and extremely easy to deal with. I return every year and hope to continue to do so well into the future. It's a great place. Best ever.

House and backyard were very nice. Pool and hotub are exceptional. Location is great with short drive to all shops and restaurants. The appliances in the kitchen albeit top brand were not in good working condition. Other than that I would definitely rent again.

We had a great time at Casa Blanca. The house has a ton of room, fantastic pool and a superb gated yard. Some of Palm Springs finest hikes are right outside your front door. The DLE team was wonderful to work with, and is incredibly helpful. We’ve already booked with DLE to return next year!

The home and landscaping are beautiful, with lots of room to spread out, both inside and outside, and the views over the valley are amazing. The property is on the edge of the desert, with excellent hikes just a short walk or drive. There were 7 adults, and we each had our own room. We really enjoyed the property. There are lots of places to lounge, eat and play.

We had a month long stay at Sierra Vista and loved it. The house and yard is very spacious and well laid out. The amenities including the pool, spa, pickleball court, were big hits for our group. We had very few issues and they were addressed by the managers. Would love to stay here again.

My college buddies and our ever-growing families have been hosting yearly reunions at desert vacation rentals for fifteen years. While it has become increasingly challenging to find accommodations for a dozen+ adults and assorted young children, La Paz Estate was absolutely perfect for a long weekend and the value was well worth the price when comparing accommodations for groups our size. The property had everything we've come to expect (and more) and didn't feel like anything was lacking. Multiple sleeping options (main house, guest house, casita) really helped us spread out singles, couples, and families so that everybody was able to have an enjoyable and personalized experience. Proximity to the Living Desert Zoo and Santa Rosa & San Jacinto Mountains National Monument was fantastic for families to easily get away for quick excursions. The Tesla charger in the garage was a surprise bonus and came in handy! We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

We just stayed for a week at the Banana Cabana with our two adult sons. Stylish house, very comfortable and clean, well stocked, backyard is gorgeous. We loved spending time there. My only negative comment: it is on a very busy road and near a busy intersection. Traffic dies down from about 10 to 3 but busy otherwise and despite being in the backyard, you do hear it. Otherwise wonderful.

Property was beautiful. Loved the pools. Loved the house. What I didn’t like: Showers weren’t positioned properly. The dryer, I complained about it, and it took a while for someone to come out. It was fine after appliance man.
